[...] Ever since E3 was killed by Sony and EA last July, the main reason for it has been that they didn’t appraciate the overflowing of bad press they had recieved from the event, mostly from independent gaming blogs, who are unattached from advertisement revenues that many other sites are bought and paid for with. As you know, E3, gaming’s biggest event, has now been turned into a much smaller event at an LA hotel, where only the most elite and “friendly” press will be evited to see their precious games. Guess what will happen if you’re not friendly? You won’t be going, ever.
I thought this was an interesting poll, considering GameFAQS is the biggest Nintendo/Sony fansite on the internet:

http://www.gamefaqs.com/poll/index.html?poll=2485

There's other polls done a month or two back that are really bad for Sony too.

It isn't looking to good for Sony. I was thinking about getting a PS3 a while ago but I just don't want a blu-ray player and I don't think I should have to pay for something I don't want. Anyway great blog, always an enjoyable read. Keep up the Sony bashing, they deserve it after all the lies.

Way to go Sony. First you steal, then you lie, and since that don't work, you take your frustration out on E3? Pothetic.

Did you read the interview I linked in the Quote of the Week? PS3 is yet to start manufacturing, and they're only going to have 2 million by the END of the year. Just think what they will have for launch. Japan is going to get the main bulk, and then the rest is split between USA and Europe. I would be surprised if USA gets anything over 200,000 (I'm guessing 150,000 or less). To put that in perspective, the Xbox 360 launched with 350,000 or so in the USA alone on November 22nd (might have been closer to 300,000).

The PS3 will have the same, if not more of a demand (because of name-brand alone, not to mention all the scalpers who saw the $$$ opportunities when it comes to new console launches & eBay last fall). The amount of chaos, frustration, & anger towards Sony and every retailer is going to be incredible this fall, and you know where all those people are going to go? The Xbox 360, which will be delivering no less than 6 AAA titles in just October/November alone.
