you know what doesnt make any sense to me is that we all hear how microsoft has the BEST online service with millions of subscribers and, the BEST games out of all three consoles. And the same games that come out between the ps3 and 360, the 360 always sells more copys. they also say microsoft has the highest attach rate of any consoles, also they say developers would rather make games on 360 first and then port it over to the ps3 because the 360 is a lot easier to develop for. im sure theres more reasons the 360 is better but, my question is why has there been nothing but talk ever since the ps3 came out that the ps3 is going to win the console wars? I DONT GET IT!!

Well the kind of analysts that talk like that are very out of touch. Look at this one from November 2006, when the Sony propaganda machine and all of its tentacles were in full swing:
http://www.joystiq.com/2006/11/16/analyst-sony-to-win-big-in-long-run/
“Sony will win in the long run with almost 60 percent of the market by 2012. That’s the determination of research firm Strategy Analytics, whose Connected Home Devices service predicts Sony’s 121.8 million PS3s will dwarf Microsoft’s 59.7 million Xbox 360s in this console generation. The company sees the Nintendo Wii as almost a non-factor with only 23.3 million units sold through 2012.
Among the other predictions in the report:
* 9 million total consoles sold this holiday season
* 39.1 million consoles sold in 2007
* 204.8 million consoles sold through 2012
* 50 percent of all console sales coming from North America this generation.”
This report (which says PS3 will outsell the Xbox 360 2:1, says that the Nintendo Wii will only sell 21 million by 2012. It’s May 2008, and the Wii has nearly sold 21 million already. These predictions are just absolutely horrid, and are about as accurate as Fox News Channel on any given day.

Who would have thought that the 360 has more 80% or higher or scores? The 360 came out first. Also if you cut the 360’s total in half its only 45. So the ps3 has sold more 80% or higher games in one year. Besides that point the ps3 is not going to do well at all. The exclusives for that platform are decent(all two of them). The 360’s are by far the best. The only game I would like on the 360 would be Brawl.
I have to tell you guys about shitty Indiana 360’s. Out of eight 360’s seven have had the red ring and the other had a video card go out. Also have sent both of mine in about four times total and the drives are crap.
