Battlefield 2 Update

This came out yesterday or the day before, but I waited until it was actually known what is in the update.  It lowers the volume of the flag announcer while playing, it also fixes the jaggy shadows that were evident in the game, as well as getting rid of most lag and supposedly fixes the voice chat problems that were evident in both the Xbox and Xbox 360 versions of BF2.

I love Live, the ability to tweak and fix…and add “new features” dominates. This is a nice update, the one that I CAN’T WAIT FOR is the GR:AW Chapter 2. (DLC)

I played BF2 last night and the load times were cut down dramatically. The problem is that it seems after an EA game is updated it causes the discs to error out and make the 360 think its an original Xbox. But it only happens after the update and days later it works fine…

Thanks for the credit Cleric :-D. I played BF2 shortly after the update came out a couple days back and the voice chat issue was still there. I couldnt hear anyone, and the game still felt lonely. I didnt look at the shadows, and didnt notice any other differences besides the announcer.
