August 1st Progress

After a few hours of work throughout the week and today, I have now completed and re-done the first five pages of The Halography. I have been re-doing more sections than I had planned, but it’ll make for a much better final product. The Halography now has a much more recent feel (aka, less speculation on what could occur in Halo 2 and 3), along with more pictures to help describe the events.
Along with everything else going on right now with the site, this is a major project, and one of my main focuses, and I hope to have the current Halography done within the next couple weeks. I will then begin moving forward and adding in Halo 3 to The Halography, including the story of the Terminals, which will be quite a large task. In addition to adding all this to The Halography, I will also be removing a lot of the theorizing and speculation from it, even though a lot of it was correct.

The New Halography

Just under four years ago I began working on and thinking about The Halography. I finished my first version of it way back on November 8th, 2004, and it was only a few pages, and summarized The Fall of Reach, the first Halo game, and First Strike. Throughout the years, with the release of more games, books, and information on the Halo universe, The Halography has expanded vastly, and during those times, I still held on to my original vision for what it should and would look like if I could have it exactly the way I wanted it. Only today did that dream begin to materialize.
After years of using time-consuming methods of trying to create and organize everything I had for The Halography, I finally have a true, dedicated home for it, and it is right here. Throughout the coming days, weeks, and months, I will be porting over everything I have into this new site, along with updating and upgrading pages as I see fit.
Following all this will be the first update to The Halography since the launch of Halo 3. For now though, I will be bringing online The new Halography, page by page.
